Zoe Szczotka
Zoe is a Master of Public Health student at the University of Miami, specializing in epidemiology. With a strong academic background in the sciences, she has cultivated a particular interest in Urology, currently working as a clinical research coordinator in the Urology department. Her work focuses on prostate and bladder cancer research, and she is actively involved in clinical trials. She has already published two papers and through her work with cancer patients, she has observed the growing use of cannabis for pain management and is eager to deepen her understanding of its benefits and risks within medicine. Her primary research interests include pharmaceutical interventions in oncology, cannabis use in chronic pain management, and the design and implementation of clinical trials. Zoe is passionate about improving patient care through research and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge. She aspires to become a Physician Assistant and work as a medical scientist. In her free time, she likes to paddle board, run, craft, or play tennis & lacrosse.
