Bria-Necole Diggs is a University of Miami Bachelor of Science in Public Health graduate and Virginia Board of Pharmacy Certified Pharmacy Technician. She is currently a Master of Science in Public Health candidate at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Bria-Necole is a Summer 2021 National Institute of Health Minority Health and Research Training Program Mentee where she assisted with primary data collection, secondary data analyses, qualitative analyses, and began her own systematic review. She has an interest in blood diseases and disorders, with an emphasis on holistic Sickle Cell crisis treatment options. 

Bria-Necole has been conducting research within Dr. Vidot’s International Cannabis Research Laboratory for approximately two years on multiple studies involving COVID-19, cancer, the judicial system, and HIV. She is the study coordinator to the Young Adult COVID-19 Transmission and Substance Use Study and will now serve as Graduate Research Assistant for the Herbal Heart Study. Bria-Necole is ecstatic for the opportunity to make valuable contributions to science and advancements in the world of cannabis and cardiovascular disease.
