Alissa Freedman

Alissa is a senior at the University of Miami majoring in Health Science with minors in Public Health, Biology, and Health Management & Policy, all while following the pre-medical track. Her academic journey has sparked a deep passion for medicine, particularly in dermatology, cardiology, and gastroenterology. Driven by a desire to improve patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge, she actively submerges herself in research opportunities. During her time in Vidot Labs she gained valuable skills in research design, data collection and analysis, as well as scientific communication and These experiences have prepared her for future research and medical endeavors as she aspires to become a Dermatologist. During her free time she likes to play tennis, pickleball and golf, as well as painting and baking.
